Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the websites, web design, hosting, and maintenance services provided by Carter Web & Hosting ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

We provide website design and development, managed hosting, and monthly maintenance and update plans. The specific scope, deliverables, and pricing for each project are agreed upon in a separate proposal or invoice before work begins.

We aim to deliver projects within the estimated timeframe, but timelines depend on timely delivery of content, feedback, and approvals from you.

Website build fees are typically invoiced with a deposit due before work begins and the balance due upon completion. Hosting and monthly update plans are billed on a recurring basis and continue until cancelled.

Recurring plans may be cancelled at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

You are responsible for providing accurate content, images, and information, and for ensuring you have the rights to any materials you supply to us. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful or infringing purpose.

Upon full payment of the build fee, you own the final website and its custom content. We may retain the right to display the work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.

We strive to keep hosted sites available and secure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure, force majeure, or factors outside our reasonable control.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Carter Web & Hosting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
